“Got a flat coming off the Ambassador Bridge this morning at 4 a.m. Limped into this gas station. The fellow on duty doing the night shift could not have been more helpful. My wife and I are both sorry we didn't get his name. Even when cell service was intermittent he let me use his store phone. One of the local customers (I think his name is Dan) helped us change the tire and get on our way. I haven't stopped at Marathon much but I will now and I will go out of my way to buy gas from this location next time I am in Detroit. Here's a picture of the bolt we picked up coming off the Ambassador Bridge. Wish they would clean the deck better. Had to buy a new tire.”

“In the back of this unassuming gasstation is a hidden gem of a resturaunt. To find friendlier and more attentive customer service you'd have to make an effort. I have only been here once but as an OTR truck driver I fully intend to visit again. Their schwarma is delicious made fresh daily on a vertical rack that slow cooks it in it's juices to seal in that flavor. And if your a little less adventurous they do the same to the chicken and the need they offer. Stop in and try something different.”
