“It has been a while since I have attended service at Bethel AME Church. My return found Bethel struggling as many like it do to maintain the extremely high number of patrons that it used to have. However, what I did find was a multi-generational congregation not struggling in spirit and faith. This historical church seems to be determined to continue its tradition of service to not only its members but the surrounding community. They not only offer Wednesday Bible meetings, a youth department and church picnics, but they also have multiple dance groups and special activities like a jazz cafe and book club. They also participate in Detroit's annual Noel Night with varied acts from around the metro area. Parking is ample and the entire facility is handicap accessible.”

“We tried out the youth circus for the first time today for our twin 7-year-olds. They are into gymnastics, and have always been interested in the circus. The coaches at the Flyhouse were super welcoming and the class was fun and light while still teaching a lot of great aerial skills. The kids both had a great time, and are excited about more classes!”
