Down River Clinic PC

My family and I have been coming to Downriver Clinic PC for many years and have nothing but good things to say about them. Today, I went to Downriver Clinic PC after a failed attempt at Beaumont Medical Center in Southgate where the doctor failed to diagnose me and prescribed unnecessary antibiotics. Frustrated, I went to Downriver Clinic and was seen within 1 hour. The Medical Assistant knew exactly what she was doing, and she explained everything in detail as she did it. Once I was diagnosed, the nurse practitioner explained why she was prescribing certain medications and the instructions that went along with them. She wrote down everything in case I forgot, and made sure that I was well take care of. Detroit Mercy Nurse Practitioners for the win. As a future Detroit Mercy PA student, I will always look to Downriver Clinic for all my medical needs. 10/10 I would recommend!

Always feel heard and doctor listen carefully. Great care. I have even had to have an IV which was administered right at the office with a nurse holding my hand. I was so sick.

This is the only urgent care I will go to.The only reason anyone will ever wait is because people are willing to drive 45 minutes to come to this urgent care because of the doctor, even with children. HE is worth waiting for. People come from all over-Detroit, Flat Rock, etc...There’s only one Dr. K, and so many of us, so wait times will always vary. I’ve only had to wait a bit one time, but 6 people were ahead of me. I may be able to drive across town to a different doctor timing wise, but will turn around and waste my time, money, not get proper care, and end up right back to Dr K, in far worse shape, as this has happened before. I don’t mind waiting, because the people ahead of me are getting the proper care they need at that time, as will I, when I am in room with Dr K. You can’t give quality medical care in a fast food fashion, or you will end as healthy as the fast food itself.
