Jake provides exceptional 1-on-1 care that caters to you 100% of the time. I was dealing with an acute low back pain flare up that limited my ability to bend forward to put my pants on, drive, sleep and perform my Olympic lifts. Within 7-8 weeks, I was able to return back to my Olympic weight lifting pain-free and I really do feel stronger with all movements. If you are looking for an awesome therapist to help with your injury, without a doubt I highly recommend Jake! You won’t be disappointed
I had pain in my shoulder whenever I was working out and it only came on with certain exercises. It progressed to where the pain was interfering with certain daily activities, but the pain would come and go. Jake was able to take his time and assess and evaluate my shoulder thoroughly. He didn't only look at my shoulder but assessed other areas that can be contributing to my pain. After 4 visits and an excellent home exercise program (~1 month), my injured shoulder is now the "good" shoulder. I am now able to do exercises that I avoided for years thanks to Jake. I am extremely thankful to Jake and I highly recommend him if you want someone to actually take their time and work with you.
Jake really takes the time to get to know what is going on, what your goals are, and how best to go about meeting them. Very knowledgeable in this field. Provided me with many techniques and exercises that I can now do myself even! He does a great job showing and teaching you how the entire body is connected and working together, and how some minor changes can result in big results and relief! Highly recommend!
Jake and MRP are amazing. If you are looking to return to a high level sport, he’s your man. He doesn’t just fix your problem, he helps you understand the “why” and how to prevent it from reoccurring. He goes beyond the basic 10x3 and classic exercises you see in your normal outpatient clinic, which is something I look for being a PT myself. Jake is also professional and fun. You won’t be disappointed with him!
Jake is an incredibly experienced PT! He assesses your injury, actually explains what is going on and what is causing the issue, and creates a care plan tailored to your sport. For me, continuing to be able to do Crossfit is very important, and Jake incorporates CF movements into my rehab plan. I have gone to other PT's before who have told me to stop exercising, and that is not the way Jake operates. As an athlete himself, he understands that movement is key. He also has a website to assign your exercises to you, with videos and explanations (he made himself) on how to do the rehab movements. 10/10 recommend Jake!
