Northville Guitar Lessons

I have been taking lessons here since ~ 2018 and my playing, knowledge, and enjoyment have improved greatly.

I find the format of playing with a group to be much better than previous private lessons at other places.

The instructors are excellent players and teachers and clearly love what they do.

I always look forward to lesson night as a highlight of my week!

before I went to nothville guitar lessons I was interested in music, I wouldn't have called it a passion. This all changed. This place helped me understand not just what to learn but also the fastest and most effecitve way to learn it with out over working yourself. Because of Northville Guitar Lessons I learned barre chords and was able to implement them as I could open chords in under 3 days. I also learned how to solo better by matching my notes to the backing track( I don't think I could have ever learned this by my self). I could not recommend this place more it turned my interest in music to a love of it.

Northville Guitar Lessons is by far the best place for guitar lessons! Our daughter started lessons at a music place in Plymouth that did not teach her anything. We came to Mr. James at Northville Guitar Lessons where she almost immediately started playing. He truly knows how to teach guitar. Our daughter plays so beautifully now. We highly recommend Mr. James to anyone looking for guitar lessons. He really is the best of the best. Don’t waste your time or money going anywhere else.

I cannot explain how amazing everyone here is. I had a horrible experience at guitar center when I first started learning guitar and then I found Northville Guitar. Emily is amazing to work with and James is an absolutely incredible teacher and an even better human being. If you’ve decided to learn guitar and want to have a ton of fun while learning from the best this is the place.

Northville Guitar Lessons is a fantastic place to learn guitar regardless of your skill level. I'm a beginner as an adult and it's been a fun and comfortable learning environment with Jim, Paul, and Emily all handling things masterfully with students.
