  Ordered food from here over the phone yesterday. It was nice to hear someone on the other end who actually cared about it my food was good when I got it. The gentleman I spoke with called back to make sure my pickup time would still work for me. When it didn't, he mixed the time back for me.

  In town to visit my relatives and needed a quick bite to eat that was not KFC, Popeyes, or the standard chain restaurants. Captain Jay's came highly recommended
  
  I ordered the chicken finger with the lemon pepper seasoning along with a peach cobbler. The chicken was fresh and fried crispy (the way that I like it). The lemon pepper season gave it the extra kick and reminded me of the "crack chicken" seasoning in Lansing, MI. The peach cobbler was a disappointment--it looked and tasted like they made it with canned peach pie filling. They could've kept that mess.
  
  The chicken was good. Now I know to avoid the desserts and see ick to the chicken, fish, and french fries.
  
  Side Note: Cleveland could use one of these special seasoning type restaurants. I may want to open one up there.
