Performax Physical Therapy

I had terrible positional vertigo for months. I went to see Ed who specializes in this debilitating condition. Each appointment I got better and better! The staff is so nice and caring. I don't have anything negative to say, it was truly a wonderful experience and I am so happy to finally have relief and get back to my normal activities. I highly recommend this office! I am so appreciative to them for helping me.

I had rotator cuff surgery a few weeks before the Covid pandemic happened. I started physical therapy just as things were beginning to shut down. My first 2 visits were with Monica at the Flat Rock location. She was very professional & so accommodating, especially when I expressed my concerns of continuing with PT outside of my home. We decided to do video sessions until I felt more comfortable attending in person. Monica went above & beyond to stay in touch with me & to make sure I was progressing forward & answer any & all of my questions. She even came in on her own time with the help of her husband to demonstrate new exercises.

Once I felt like the threat of the pandemic had lessened I transferred over to their Woodhaven location where I had the rest of my sessions with Ed & Michelle along with Mitchell. Ed took the time to make sure all of my concerns were addressed & worked with me on getting my range of motion back to normal, if not better. They all made sure I was progressing in the right direction & treated me like I was someone they had known forever. I did not think I would ever get the full use of my arm back until I met Ed & this amazing team of professionals at Performax! Thank you all for everything!

I just finished physical therapy on my shoulder and I couldn't be happier! I injured my shoulder last summer and began physical therapy at the Rehabilitation Inst. of Michigan-RIM in Detroit and was extremely dissatisfied. The PA in my doctors office referred me to Performax and they have been absolutely wonderful. Within a few weeks I had regained almost full range of movement in my arm and after 3 more weeks of strengthening, I'm pretty much back to normal. I highly recommend Ed as a therapist, he listens and was very attentive to my progress and concerns. I also liked the fact that Michelle really watched and made sure I was doing the exercises correctly (something that never happened at RIM) which contributed to my speedy recovery. It is that kind of help and caring attention that makes Performax stand out. Thank you to each and everyone that assisted me, I will recommend you to anyone I know who needs physical therapy.

I have used this facility twice now. Both times have had excellent service. The first time was after knee surgery- I worked with Michelle and Ed. They were equally qualified physical therapists. Very thorough and I really felt like they cared about my treatment. The second time I used their services for my shoulder. This time I worked with Monica and Ed. Both were great. Very professional. They really cared about my well being and getting my shoulder back to normal for me. I would definitely recommend this location/facility.

I had 8 sessions of PT here and Ed and Michelle both were very good and thorough in ridding me of the pain I was experiencing (my piriformis muscle was pinching my sciatica nerve). I was very pleased to learn the stretching exercises, and they both were inventive in making the equipment work with my differently proportioned body! They listened if I had any concerns about my back or (on a rare occasion, if the stretches got too painful) and I would leave feeling rested and ready for my day.
