“I used to go to Metro and I can honestly say that it was one of the best experiences, yes some of the kids got out of control but the teachers always tried their best to keep order in the classroom and make sure all of the kids were treated with respect, safety was one of their main concerns and were always on the lookout for their students, most of the issues I had seen came from parents who thought they were above school rules and could do whatever they wanted but when a teacher said anything they acted like the victims and wouldn't take responsibility for their actions which of course led to setting a bad example for their children who in turn would misbehave in class. I would truly recommend this school for anyone.”

“Not a bad school at all, daughter went here online during pandemic, she didn’t wanna wear a uniform so I had to transfer her. I’ve been to the middle school and high school it’s very decent and clean and seen the band during the parade this year and they were out at the Inkster high reunion promoting and giving out backpacks plus they were giving out food boxes every week to the needy you gotta respect that.”

There are many employees to be able to handle their capacity of childern, are well trained, friendly, never been rude no matter if I've been late at drop off. “Farrand Elementary School is a warm and welcoming school for ALL students. The teachers go above and beyond in the classroom. They are knowledgeable of the curriculum and provide a quality education. We find all the teachers to be professional and accommodating to the needs of all learners. My families experience with ALL teachers in the building has been nothing but positive and I would be comfortable for my child to be in any teacher's classroom in the building. My children have had a wonderful experience and have thrived in this school. I love that the school is nestled in a neighborhood. It brings a warm sense of community to the school. Their are many in-school and after-school events sponsored by the PTO. There is really something for every child. My oldest child is moving on to middle school next year and I feel he is so prepared for the next step in his academic journey. This is a TOP notch school, with EXCELLENT teachers in all classrooms.”

“I was extremely nervous about finding a school for my child who was entering kindergarten, and my child is quite different to vaguely put. As soon as I contacted the principal and expressed my concern, she and the superintendent took action to meet with me immediately and provide the best experience possible for my child. My child's educational wellbeing became their concern and they did their part. As a parent I felt completely taken care of and comfortable. It's been a great experience and I could not say enough nice things about Carr Elementary. Wonderful, pleasant, and caring staff!”
