“This was my first time visiting this church. The services were outdoors and the pastors preached from the roof looking out to Scott lake road. This Pastor Rick had preached a powerful sermon to the people sitting in chairs in front lawn. Then they had a cookout and served lunch to the congregation along with games outdoors. I was impressed with the Pastors way to preach from on top of roof to reach all the people and to the surrounding houses and apartments. That was a really great way to reach the neighborhood. I would give him a 10 for that idea. The people were very friendly and open. The food was great, and the games were fun. Overall it's a very nice church. I will be going again. Moreover, the Pastor knows all of her members. She takes out time to obtain familiarity with all her members and visitors. Another aspect of this church that I love is that their slogan is that “we only look down on someone when we are reaching down to uplift them”. This is so true because they are always helping people.
