“Happened upon this little gem by chance and stopped for lunch with my daughter. Got the super club wrap with fries and my daughter got chicken finger wrap with the soup bar and fries. The fries are absolutely the BEST!!! Super crispy, very flavorful, and not greasy at all. The wraps were huge and very filling (we both took half of ours to go). Soup was superb and those rolls were just sooo delicious! Best money I've spent for restaurant food in a long time. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area!”

“Wow..... what a great sub sandwich. I have not been to a Capt'n Nemo's in years (because I didn't know that any of them were left) but the reunion was AWESOME!! You have to go and see for yourself. They have all varieties of submarine sandwiches and I love the ones that they grill because they also slightly grill the inside of the bun so it has the soft outside and a very slight crunch on the inside when you bite into it. My personal favorites are the Pizza sub, the Grilled Ham & Cheese sub, the BLT sub and the list goes on. Prices are very reasonable in these costly times. Dine inside and enjoy their Big Screen TV or take it to go. Ample parking available and masks are optional at this time. And you can get dessert next door when you're done. “I was hired by doordash to take a few menu items since new owners as of 4 weeks ago, Stewart and Chris took over. They changed about 40% of the menu and introduced some real tasty amercan fare upscale bar food. Chef Poppy knocks it out of the house with a quality presentation coupled with very flavorful dishes. I enjoyed the black and blue salad. The steak was seasoned to perfection and very juicy. I am quite impressed with the atmosphere and looking forward to a newer outdoor dining area. “I really had a good time here. They staff was great and the band was amazing. The night I was there they featured one of Detroit’s hottest bands. The Black Lake Band. The menu consisted of some soulful recipes. I had the Mac & cheese, collard greens and cornbread. The full bar has very reasonable priced drinks. It is a smaller venue. But they did have a large rented area out back. The crowd was friendly and I definitely recommend this place for a good time.”

Our bill was high but it’s typically for seafood boil. Too bad it only has take out for now. If you have never had seafood boil, now is the time. You will not be disappointed! I love my food very spice and this place delivers. They really make a distinction between sauces too. Cajun sauce will not have garlic butter mixed into the boil. No garlic means no garlic. The food is quick and clean. This will be the next party place when it open for dine in. Highly recommended! Hint: avoid the line by ordering online.”

“I was on assignment to take some pics of their dishes. I also had the opportunity to speak with David who is the new owner. He knows thai dishes very well and is 2nd generation from Laos. He has special spices that cannot be grown here, flown in from Florida. The dishes are authentic Thai. Even though we all recognize the dishes, the difference is that they are more flavorful than most Thai restaurants in the metro area. I have been to many Thai restaurants and I rate this amongst the better ones. The Tom Yum Gai was the best thai soup I have had and the chicken sate is so flavorful. I highly recommend you stop into this West Bloomfield location and taste the deliciousness. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!”

I would say this qualifies as a “Hole in the Wall” type place. The pizza is a bit oily but it tasted good, wonderfully portioned and excellently priced. The wait was not long at all. I love that they host community events (the trunk or treat has always been my family's favorite). Overall good food & good people! Edit (8/11/22): Came here last night to pick up dinner to take back home for the family. Ordered food and a couple ice cream products. All of the ice cream came out way before the food so it was starting to melt by time we left.
