The well-maintained campsites offered ample space and privacy, and the stunning views of Portage Lake were simply breathtaking. The campground facilities were top-notch, with clean restrooms and hot showers that made camping much more comfortable. The friendly and helpful staff added to the overall positive experience, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the abundance of outdoor activities available. We enjoyed hiking the nearby trails, which offered a diverse range of difficulty levels and rewarded us with stunning vistas. Fishing on Portage Lake was a delight, and we even managed to spot some local wildlife during our stay. The sense of tranquility and serenity at Portage Lake Campground was unmatched. Whether sitting by the campfire under a starry night sky or waking up to the soothing sounds of nature, it was an idyllic retreat that rejuvenated our spirits. The only minor downside was the limited availability of electrical hookups, but it was a small trade-off for such a pristine natural environment. Overall, Portage Lake Campground is a gem of a destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. I cannot wait to return and create more lasting memories in this picturesque paradise. “Everything was top tier and wonderful, however, my only mark against is that despite the steak being delicious and perfectly cooked (very underrated quality these days unfortunately), I don't feel the price was completely justified, as it still remains to this day, the most expensive piece of meat I've ever consumed. “Just the place I need in the area. My new routine barbershop without a doubt. An honest and down to earth barber and his shop. Offers complete hair and beard services and even heard him talking about nail services. I came here because it was close to work. The haircut I received was clean, sharp and is growing out perfectly with the way it was layered. Took in all of my requests and details and asked questions since it was my first time. As good as the haircut was, the company and conversation was also great. After the haircut I received a hot towel over the head while a head and neck massage ensued. The place offers coffee, pop and beer! Sports are always playing and there’s a comfortable waiting area.”

“My husband and I have the Consumer’s Appliance Repair Plan and they sent out Tony’s Appliance technician, Chad. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He replaced the one part he had on his truck and ordered the second part we needed, for the washer. He called later that same day to say that one of their suppliers had the second part we needed and he could swing by after his last job and put it in for us. We didn’t expect that but it was amazing customer service. We will definitely be requesting Tony’s Appliance Repair through Consumers going forward!”

Sometimes the lines are a little long, but Fridays and Saturdays are always busy. Make sure you take hangers off items by the time you check out. The clerks really appreciate that.”
