“Me and my friend have tried many different restaurants around this area, since we like to try new restaurants every time we go to eat. Oakland Tea House is solidly in our top 3 favorite places, if not number 1. We went here for the first time not too long ago, and let me tell you, this was the BEST food I have had in a while! The pork dumplings are phenomenal! It's been a few days since I've eaten there and I still can't stop thinking about them.😂 But it's not just the dumplings that are delicious, the other food that we got was just as good. I had read the reviews before going, and saw many people had seemed to like the beef noodle soup. Now, this is the type of thing neither my friend nor I would naturally gravitate towards to order. However, I am so glad that we got it. It was so warm and flavorful. It felt like sitting on a couch cuddled up with a book and cup of tea on a rainy day. It was so comforting. The shop has a homey feel and is run by a very nice couple. The woman at the counter was so kind and helped us by recommending some dishes to us. Some of the reviewers said the food took a long time to come out, but that wasn't the case for us, though there weren't many people there when we went. Regardless, if the food took even an hour or two longer to come out, I would still happily sit and wait. It is so worth it! You can clearly taste the care that is put into each dish. Honestly, I can't recommend this place enough and will back very very soon.”

“Had a piece of metal in my tire. I was 15 minutes away. I called and asked if they could get me in. Said I would probably have to wait a few minutes. I called a big box store they had said, drop it off, and we'll get to it by 5 pm. They were pretty busy the owner was very pleasant and super knowledgeable about tires. They had me in and out quickly. Highly recommend if you need tires while in Richmond.”

“Several years ago, Dr. Ayas helped provided me with a diagnosis and treatment plan for a GI condition. He was always very kind and genuinely interested in helping me feel comfortable/understand my treatments. When I turned 18, he offered to continue my treatment plan until I graduated college which was very helpful seeing as I was a full time student attending college a few hours away from my home town! I ultimately found a new GI doctor, but I will always appreciate Dr. Ayas' medical support and education when it came to questions, fears, new medication, etc. Additionally, the nurses were always easy to talk to and super nice! I think my only negative would be the occasional long wait; but I knew my appointment time months in advance so I wasn't in a rush to do other things and I understood it meant other people were getting the care they needed.”

“Farrand Elementary School is a warm and welcoming school for ALL students. The teachers go above and beyond in the classroom. They are knowledgeable of the curriculum and provide a quality education. We find all the teachers to be professional and accommodating to the needs of all learners. My families experience with ALL teachers in the building has been nothing but positive and I would be comfortable for my child to be in any teacher's classroom in the building. My children have had a wonderful experience and have thrived in this school. I love that the school is nestled in a neighborhood. It brings a warm sense of community to the school. Their are many in-school and after-school events sponsored by the PTO. There is really something for every child. My oldest child is moving on to middle school next year and I feel he is so prepared for the next step in his academic journey. This is a TOP notch school, with EXCELLENT teachers in all classrooms.”
