Altra Muffler & Brake

I have brought all my trucks (non diesel) to Roy and Brian.... hands down best shop around. Have been 110% happy with every exhaust system they've done for me. Will be bringing another one in very soon!

Awesome service, fixed an exhaust leak for $160 parts and labor that an Andover car repair shop said they couldn’t do and that I needed a complete $2200 exhaust system put in. Crooks. Roy, the owner, was friendly and very helpful.

Been going here since I was 18, I'll be 27 this year. Hands down the best car mechanics in the state. Brian is a head down, hard working mechanic. Roy is so fun to talk to (talks cars all the time) and knows what he's talking about. Prices are more than reasonable, super reliable and efficient, trustworthy and honest, communication is great! Unfortunately I moved out of the area so I can't rely on them as much anymore, however, anytime the car has a breakdown we send it to Altra. Though it's a drive (45 minutes one way) I'll occasionally make the drive to have them do the work because again they're the best in the business! I couldn't recommend Altra more, seriously check them out for all your car repair needs.

I went to Altra to get my car fixed after someone tried stealing my Catalytic converter, but instead took some other pipes/parts.

Altra was very professional, quick and easy to get an appointment with, and the service was fast. They had the best pricing compared to other local shops. I also appreciated that they listened to what I wanted done and did not try to upsell me.

Overall, I felt comfortable taking my car here. I am confident that the work is high quality and that the pricing is fair. I highly recommend Altra, and definitely will use again in the future.

Shop Manager and/or Owner (Roy) was timely in completing work. Provided quality service I was looking for and shop is very versatile in their craft. I would highly recommend this shop to car enthusiasts! This shop has modified both of my vehicles exhaust over the course of the past year.
