“Never ever having any experience with home hospice care, at first I was terrified hearing the term “hospice.” In November of 2020, my husband was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer. He underwent 3 aggressive chemotherapy treatments, all to no avail. His oncologist advised us to look into hospice care as the next step. After a recommendation, we chose Mary T, Inc. to help us cope with his declining health. We both were extremely pleased with how they handled everything, from communicating with his primary oncologist, to ordering any necessary “durable equipment” for him, as well as required medications. Their Director of Hospice sat down with us and carefully explained what we would be going through. They also took care of the Medicare billing process. We never saw a bill. He had regular visits from the nurses, all of whom conferred in regard to his treatments, etc. He also had at his disposal visits from their Massage Therapist, and Hospice Chaplin. The entire staff was nothing but helpful and compassionate. We became quite close to them. When we chose Mary T, it turned out that we made the best decision for the rest of my husband's life.”
