“My wife and I just placed my father at Atlas Villas Memory Care. This is a MUST CONSIDER and MUST SEE for anyone looking at a memory care facility for a loved one. Atlas Villas is a brand new "concept" sixteen (16) bed facility that is unlike any other facility we saw and we have seen most of them! It is brand new, the owners are there on a regular basis, and one can see a ton of thought went into the facility from the design, home like feel everywhere, quality of the construction materials and furniture with a clear "pride of ownership" and desire to make everyone who walks in the door feel special. By "pride of ownership" I am referring to the beautiful floors, high quality carpet, tall and thick trim base boards in the rooms, shiplap on the walls in the hallways, beautiful lighting (everywhere), painted ceilings, furniture and furnishings you find in homes and higher end hotels, dimmer switches in rooms, High Quality Ultra HD TV's in public areas, and even the rooms come with pre-mounted high-end TV Mounts where they tilt and rotate for optimal viewing. The facility is physically "smaller" than most in terms of size by design that makes it special. Again, this is a "villa" environment where all of the residents gather for the majority of the day in the center part of the facility. Having all of the residents and staff in a designated and in many ways "cozy" atmosphere creates a bit of a "buzz" with energy that you just don't find in other facilities that are simply too big and don't bring people together like Atlas Villas Memory Care. The residents rooms are a perfect size and not too big / not too small with endless configuration and design options. This is just the start of the experience as the staff is TOP NOTCH and from what we can see so far an unmatched ratio of caregiver to patient. In talking to the owners they are very selective at who they hire and if applications are not going to treat the residents like they are a family member they should not apply. Needless to say we are very pleased with the decision and feel blessed to have our loved-one be part of this wonderful community.
