“Initially my first encounter with Dr michalik wasn't really impressive but he did something unexpected and called me back to discuss some additional medical records he had reviewed. That really impressed me and made me feel like he was hearing what I was saying and acknowledging my pain to the best of his ability newly acquiring me as a patient. I recognize that taking over a patient from a previous doctor must be intimidating and takes some time to get to know the patient especially when dealing with comorbities of health conditions. That phone call made me also realize that I may know all that I have been struggling with, but the new Dr does not.
