Farquar Park

This park has a lot: playground, basketball hoop, horseshoes, 3 pavilions (2 small, 1 medium), tennis courts, walking path with uphills and downhills, sand volleyball, fishing pier, restrooms and large grassy field. The only drawback is if you come in from Pilot Knob, you have to walk out of sight of the parking lot to get to anything but the small pavilion, grassy field or pier. There is also a small parking lot on the back side of the park, next to the playground, which you get to through some side streets.

The park pravilian was on top of a hill and if you're an older person or a person with bad knees or whatever you will not be able to walk up and down to the bathroom, however the park is nice and clean and great place to fish, play tennis,and play ground for kids.

Nice picnic shelter, but very humid and hot today in mpls.

Very nice park, no fish in the lake tho.
