Chevy's Classic Barbershop

If you are looking for a fanciful experience when going in for a monthly trim where you can watch TV, have a stylist that just graduated from the Great Clips Hair Academy give you a terrible haircut, during a 45 minute conversational hiatus where the person cutting my hair asked me how my Thanksgiving was.... in June...? Then throw an old dirty hot towel on your face before charging you 35.00 to have to go home and shave your head after the atrocious haircut you just received then this is NOT the place for you. If you want a spectacular haircut from an old school Barber that is energetic, entertaining, friendly, and is able to give you a perfect cut and a great experience while only taking up about 20 mins of your time for about the price of breakfast at the local diner then this is the spot for you. Chevy is amazing. I sat and waited for about an hour listening and watching a true artist in a nearly lost art work magic on the people in the barber chair. The only draw back is that he tragically suffers from Crohns disease which if you aren't familiar with this illness is one that I would not wish on my worst enemy. My brother has it and is on disability because of it and hasn't worked in years. So there are times when it can be frustrating because I go during business hours and the shop is closed. But I've learned that he is always worth the wait. A day or two later he is in and hard at work and I will always support not just my local Barber but someone who has become a friend since first going to him about 3 years ago. I don't know why it took me this long to leave a review... probably because the only time I leave a review for a business it's to tell people that the place is awful. I don't think I've ever left a positive review for any business until now but I felt that it was time to give Chevy a proper review from someone who has gotten to know him well. To the people who have said negative things about him... all of which are about him not being in the shop during business hours I do understand your frustration but if you had Crohns disease and knew how debilitating it is you'd give the guy a break. Believe me.he LOVES what he does and he actually cares about each and every one of his clients and somehow remembers everyone's name! So if you call him on his phone which is on the Google he will let you know when he's available to give you the best service you're going to get anywhere bar none. I love this guy and love this place and best of all my wife has loved every cut he's ever given me!

First time customer and I was treated like I was family from the moment I walked in. On top of the amazing haircut, this guy knows how to talk to people and really make you feel welcome in his shop. The conversations could’ve lasted all day. If you’re looking for a classic barber shop with a great atmosphere and good prices, this is your place.

Great experience. Ask every step of the way if it was to my liking. As soon as I walked in they were extremely accommodating and attentive. The haircut was worth every penny. This will be my new location from now on. Highly recommend
