  A fun, tucked away, place to explore. We brought our dog and kids and walked by the water. It's exciting to see barges and boats as well as trains nearby. Paved paths are easy to walk on and wide enough for both bikes and strollers. Some benches along the way!

  Nice little public spot still being developed for outdoor activities. Nice paved walking/biking trail on a little loop. No trees, so lots of sun on a summer day. Fun to watch the bald eagles flying over the river as well as the tug boats moving barges. I look forward to coming back when it's finished.

Kaposia landing is one of THE BEST places to fish from shore. .and not just carp... I get at least 60 walleyes a year there and plenty of bass, northern pike and occasionally a muskie.... heck I've even caught my only paddle fish right there at the kaposia creek drain pipe... not to mention its beautiful...
