Great place and the jewel of the restaurant scene in West St Paul and Mendota Heights. We had the blood orange Wings bistro burger and the French dip. All were perfectly cooked and very good. My wife called her burger the best she has had. Please keep this place on your radar. A little more expensive but trust me it worth it!!!!
I found myself in West St. Paul and checked out the FoodSmith Bistro-Pub. What a delight! Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, the restaurant was excellent. Our server Courtney was extremely gracious and knowledgeable, steering my party to tasty dishes, including the pool shoulder I had with homemade spaetzel. Perfectly cooked, the meat was tender and delicious.
Besides the good food and service, the interior is very cozy and hospitable.
I'll definitely be back!
Excellent food, we ordered a take out, it was ready in time. The place looked very clean and I was happy to see some outdoor seating. We ordered burgers with fries and they were the best we ever had! The food came in containers that we can recycle. A very nice addition to our neighborhood.
The place was very clean and nicely decorated. The service was excellent as well as the food. The food is more upscale without the exorbitant prices which we found to be quite reasonable. Parking is on-street but there was plenty of spaces available. We had the grilled shrimp nachos, the cauliflower mac and cheese bake, and the grilled lemon-herb chicken breast. All were incredibly good. The chicken almost melts in your mouth as it is that flavorful and juicy! The beer menu is extensive for the size of the place but we would have liked to see all local Minnesota beers instead. I would definitely come back though for the food alone.
