The wait was long, but exactly what reception told me it would be. I appreciated how much time they spent with me on the phone when I called to figure out whether I should come in immediately (on 4th of July) or wait for my regular vet - they took the time to really listen to me AND answer my questions about wait time,
Urgency, etc. it’s not cheap, but I believe we received great care and transparent communication about how long we would wait and how that would be impacted by critical cases coming in. Thank you for taking care of my pup on a stressful day!

Sadly, we had to use the services at BluePearl to put our 18 year sick kitty to sleep during non-business hours. The staff at the clinic were so kind, empathetic, thoughtful and very professional. We were hoping to have a peaceful transition during a scheduled appointment with out vet but our kitty had other plans and we did not want to watch her suffer until her clinic opened. This was a great option and I think she received excellent, humane care at BluePearl, Golden Valley.

I brought my 1-yo new dog of about two weeks, Doris, for some potential heart worm disease post-treatment concerns. We came early in the morning (5:30am) after calling from home to check on availability. We were the first ones there and we were seen as promptly as we were promised (within a half hour of our initial phone call.) We left right around an hour and a half after they looked her over and took our fecal sample for tests. She was diagnosed with hook worm and prescribed medication which they kindly sent over to be filled by the nearby Animal Humane Society (which fills RX for free within 14 days of adoption of their rescues.)

Overall service was quick and courteous. The only minor qualm I had was lack of detailed information on hookworm from the vet and that she didn’t try to hide that she was in a hurry; our conversation was a bit quick. I respect that this is probably just the way a vet must become when dealing with emergency services and potentially emotional pet owners. The vet tech who worked with us also made sure to answer any questions I had thoroughly, before discharge.

Price-wise, they’re on the higher end compared to a couple of other places I checked but I paid no more than expected as they gave me options throughout the visit.

I would recommend them if your pet is in need. Just make sure you truly have the ability to pay and remember that a pet ER is similar to one for humans; sometimes, you have to wait long for more sever cases to go first and it is pricier than a normal vet visit.

I brought my dog here last week after our normal vet told me that she needed emergency care immediately. They got us in the moment that we arrived. I feel that they gave Mattie the best care that they could, even though she did not survive the night. It was the worst day of my life, and I felt that both Mattie (my dog) and I were treated with compassion and kindness. I really appreciate the people who were working that night. I hope that I never need to go back here, but it is good to know that it is there when your beloved pet has an emergency. Thank you.
