(March 29, 2021, 10:54 am)Very cool nature setting in the center of the urban Mississippi environment. Blue Herons nest here from early March through April. Multi-level stairs and paths for viewing the two islands from different angles. @ Marshall Terrace Park.

(August 10, 2017, 1:11 am)This is viewable from Marshall Terrace Park. You won't be able to see anything after dark. The herons only nest in spring. Nice view of the river though, and you can fish from shore. You might catch catfish or perch or carp. Other kinds of fish are also caught here at times. You might also see a peregrine falcon flying around here.
