Hot Plate

Perfect brunch place! I met up with some friends here, everyone really enjoyed their meals. I ordered the Greek Scramble with a pancake on the side and a mimosa. Delicious! The interior is very eclectic, artwork of all types hanging on the wall. Very fun place.

Went to Hot Plate for family Sunday brunch and they did not disappoint! Love the décor, something to look at from every angle, so unique! My kids played the best game of I spy finding great stuff to look at. Staff was so nice, friendly and accommodating. Menu has great traditional options as well as more adventurous treats! We will for sure being going back!

Interesting atmosphere, very friendly people running the restaurant. Good food with Midwestern twist. The pumpkin buckwheat waffles are delicious. Great for the whole family to get breakfast or to get brunch with your friends. Really a wonderful place!

A charming restaurant with a throw back to the 1960's decor. I had the Eggs Benedict which was delicious although I prefer my eggs a little runnier than these, but the flavor was good and the little roasted breakfast potatoes were wonderful. My husband had the corned beef hash which also came with breakfast potatoes and two eggs. He said the same thing I did, his eggs were supposed to be over medium but they were more over-hard but the food was delicious. So, we will go back!

Also, portions are large and we took a doggie bag home.

This place has some of the best affordable breakfast in Minneapolis and the servers are so nice. The biscuits and gravy and the hot mess hash are the best menu options in my opinion. They make the mimosas and poinsettias the RIGHT way with just a splash of juice ;) it's also just entertaining to look at everything in their kitschy dining room.
