(April 11, 2021, 6:21 pm)The best part of this park is the diversity of people that come here. It is so amazing. Such a friendly place to visit. A friendly park and so very enjoyable to see and talk to people or to walk quietly with your headset on. Plenty of parking both paid and free. Clean and hopefully the food service facility will open soon. Rentals of boats, bikes and other equipment makes the lake so accessible for exploring.

(March 5, 2021, 9:54 pm)Beautiful lake with an awesome walking path all around connecting it to Lake Hiawatha. In the summer, it's fun to hangout by the beach, with lots of opportunities to rent bikes, carriges, kayaks and paddleboats. Highly recommend this spot to hangout outside.

Snowshoed on the frozen lake today with friends and our snow loving malamute dog, along with ice fishermen and rink skaters -

(January 4, 2021, 8:48 pm)What a lovely place. We walked from our house and even had a jaunt out onto the frozen lake. Plenty of walking/riding paths. Very beautiful landscape.
