I met Doctor Lucking I think in 2011 and since then he has been a great support in helping me give my body the nutrition and supplementation I need to become healthier than I have been in years. He actually inspired me to take control of my own health which got me on a path to get my Bachelors of Science in Health and Wellness which I obtained in 2015. I remember the first day I met Doctor Lucking as his knowledge and expertise just amazed me. I said after meeting him to myself, " I want to be that kind of a doctor who didn't need to rely on medical testing and can look at a person and tell them what they needed to be healthier. He looked at me and could tell exactly what my body was lacking and what my diet was lacking. He has taught me so much over the years. He graduated from the top federally accredited Naturalpathic medical school in the country (Bastyr University) and has worked with me over the years to reach my goals of whole healthcare and wellness. He is truly on the cutting edge of medicine here in MN and his wisdom being in practice over the past 30+ years is astounding. He is truly a genius of medicine and continues to inspire me over the years. He is truly dedicated to seeing people succeed in their healthcare goals and of achieving whole health healing as he has demonstrated working with my financial needs and my desire to get off disability and back to working again. One thing I like the most about his practice is the N.D. philosophy of "Doctor as teacher." He makes me feel like I have control of my healthcare and less dependent on a medical system as I have been taught in the past. Away from the philosophy of doctor knows best which creates a dependency on the medical system and more geared towards collaboration in promoting healing. He is highly educated in the natural healing abilities of the body and how to support that through nutrition and supplementation. He teaches me how to become healthier and works collaboratively with me as a doctor in that he listens to me and understands what my body truly needs rather than most doctors who tell me what my body needs based on their own education and a standard model of statistics of the average person or just treating a disease or dysfunction of an area of the body. The Naturopathic philosophy has been difficult for me to understand since I was always use to using Western medicine but after running the gammet and having doctors unable to truly help me heal in the past he has given me new hope for medicine and he is just truly inspiring. Thank you Doctor Lucking for all that you do. I am looking forward to our next visit.
