“My husband and I really enjoy our time at Grace Seventh Day Baptist. The people are lovely. We love the worship, old hymns are so refreshing. The sermons are used from the older to the new testament. We are a small congregation of all ages. Our fellowship meal is a great time of connecting. The afternoon there is usually a video and some discussion. Great place to go deeper in our heritage and hang out. We come from all over the metro area.”

“This church is amazing! I have been attending for over four years and I have never felt so "at home." Bethel is really good at connecting with newcomers and making them feel comfortable. This church is also very family-friendly, and there are a lot of families at different stages in life. Older, younger, etc. The children's ministry is also a strength, with over 30 children being ministered to on a given Sunday. Overall, great church! I'd highly recommend it!”

We felt zero pressure to spend a lot of money, and in the end got a nice mattress with a really, really good deal, all thanks to her vigilance with watching inventory while we waited for something to become available. “My home church so I will try to keep this as objective as possible. First, this is a Bible-based church. The pastor, while not using an expository style, cites Scripture extensively to support his points. Second, there is a strong emphasis on multi-generational activities, based on the principles from the book, Sticky Faith. Third, while not advocating the "social Gospel", there is a strong emphasis on community outreach (e.g. good relationships with local elementary schools and neighborhood organizations, hosting police, school, and community meetings and events, hosting an Hispanic church and working alongside them with events and fundraising for their programs). Fourth, a blended contemporary/traditional worship service. Fifth, a high level of lay involvement in ministries such as Vacation Bible Study, Sunday School, Wednesday Night meals and programs, Grief Share, Spice of Life, Kids 2, and other programs. Sixth, a growing young adult segment of the congregation. Seventh, an active small group ministry. Eighth, a friendly and welcoming congregation. Crosstown Covenant Church is a mid-sized church with about 150 regular-attenders. The smaller size doesn't allow for as many ministries as a large church but because of the high level of volunteerism, there are more programs than similarly-sized churches. If you come, prepare for a conversation and if you join, prepare to become involved in a ministry.”

“We spent an evening at St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church and it was great! The facilities were beautiful and well set up and maintained. The parking was even well done and organized. The staff who worked for the Church were quiet and very knowledgeable about their facility and did a good job of stepping back at all times and not overwhelming us. The stage area, which was a part of the church faculties was fantastic, had great sound and lighting and was the centerpiece of our evening. It will be welcome if we have the event at the same Church next year to return to this venue.”
