She really cares about our pets. Our older cat has needed specialty food a few times, and the doctor and staff are always clear about their recommendations. Thanks to Dr. Jones' expertise, we were referred to a feline ophthalmologist and found out that our cat has glaucoma. Without this referral our cat could have lost her sight. Wouldn't go anywhere else!”

“I know there was issues with the male Dr. that no longer works at this clinic, we see Dr. Renee and if I could give her 100 stars I would. We have a hyperthyroid cat, a diabetic cat, a dog we almost lost to gall stones, and a dog with reoccuring GI issues and IVDD. They have given us amazing care, and when we weren't able to do all the tests due to finances Dr. Renee still did a wonderful job treating our furbabies. When an ER Dr. advised putting our doxi down due to sky high liver and pancreas values, Dr. Renee nursed her back to health. When another vet advised a general anesthetic and ear lavage for a bad ear infection, Dr. Renee consulted a dermatologist and with medication cleared it up. I can't say enough about the thorough, compassionate, cost-effective care we've received every time we've visited Brookdale Animal Hospital!”

“We had an emergent situation with our 8 year old lab Cinder. We had went to the U of Iowa first but time was of the essence and needed an MRI fast if it was a disc issue. The university did not have a technician on hand so we had to drive an additional 3 hours to here. Right away in the morning the doctor; a vet neurologist (I’ll edit my review if I can think of the doctors name) evaluated our girl. She called me; she was so kind, knowledgeable with her skill and explained everything very clearly to us. Even though we lost our dog yesterday due to the most probable diagnosis of cancer; I greatly appreciated the care she received, the kind words from the doctor. The doctor was very honest; she said we could have done additional tests but prognosis was still poor. The cost of what was needed to be additionally done was very substantial. It’s hard to know how we could have afforded that if we had to do it but none the less they were honest and told us it wasn’t worth it. I’m giving 5 stars because I feel the care was amazing. The cost is steep; and I would imagine other places are too; but at the end of the day I would have done or tried to figure it out if it was needed and could have saved her. 💛”

“I walked on part of this path from the Phoenix Zoo/ Papago Park area (next to the Hole in the Rock). It's concrete and nicely paved. Unfortunately, there wasn't much shade. Didn't see many hikers, most a few bikes going along the trail. It got hot, so I had to turn back. Edit: This path apparently also extends to Scottsdale (not sure if same one but did see the labeled sign along the path.) I was able to access this path from the G.R. Herberger Park. There were some nice trees in blossom along the way, however this part of the trail was close to the street- so a bit noisy.”
