We chose to make a two-night getaway mid-winter at Historic District B&B, even though we live in the Twin Cities. It was the most relaxing vacation I've ever had, largely because of Kevin and the beautiful accommodations. We lounged in our comfy room (the Gregg room), read, enjoyed the glorious breakfasts, avoided the icy streets, and walked to nearby restaurants for dinner. We plan to do it every year, if we can!
My mom and I spent the weekend here and enjoyed our walks through Summit Avenue and the front porch swing view!! We explored lots of eating places and the cute little shops. It was the best nights sleep in a long time too. Then to wake up to a 2 course breakfast?! We would definitely come again!!
Hands down the best experience staying anywhere.
Kevin was amazing. Great conversation, great person who truly takes care of his guests. He cooked us a first class breakfast (3 courses) and it was out-of-this-world amazing!
Stay here - you won't regret it!
Wow! What a great B&B. As B&B owners, we were truly impressed. Historic home with all of the "Oh, wow." that goes with it. Kevin is a great host and a superb chef. Breakfast was phenomenal. The Historic District B&B will be our go to in future Twin Cities travels.
Beautiful home inside and out. We stayed this fall with some friends and had a wonderful time. Kevin is most hospitable and lead us on some great suggestions for dinner - all with in walking distance. The fall colors were just beginning to turn and this neighborhood was beautiful. Each couple we stayed with had their own room and bathroom. The house hosted us in the evening as we socialized and reminisced. The best treat was the sweet, savory, or healthy options for breakfast. Delicious, thoughtful, and lovely. Thank you for an incredible stay. We will defiantly be back for another visit.
