My child is a student and she's in 3rd grade. She's been there since 2019. Honestly its the best school!

Nokomis Montessori North is an AMAZING community! Families, staff, and most of all students enjoy a creative and safe place to learn and grow. We take pride in Nokomis arts partnerships with author Kao Kalia Yang and illustrator Billy Thao.

Throughout the summer we play at this park almost everyday. They just installed a brand new playground this fall (2021) and it is amazing. Super fun!

Probably one of the best schools for a young child who is passionate and curious about the world. Montessori is an amazing philosophy, and as a graduate of this school, their Montessori education has taken me very far. :)

I would also emphasize the school's emphasis on Native American culture and history is great. It really teaches students about the land they occupy and the injustice to Native Americans.

We have a child with special needs that attends here and we are pleased with her academic progress and how well she adjusted from her private Catholic preschool. She is high functioning and we feel they they have adaquatly addressed her IEP specialized services. After visiting several schools in the neighborhood we noticed how much more calm and focused the children in this Montessori program are compared to other public schools in the area and decided that this type of environment is necessary for her academic sucess and we're glad we did.
