Had a semi annual check up and cleaning. Was in and out in 45 minutes. Had X-rays, exam and cleaning. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Dentist top notch. Great location in a 1910 era converted house. When's the last time you saw a beveled crystal glass window in a dental office?
The receptionist is unpleasant to deal with. True. Nevertheless, Dr. Rischall is a very skilled and honest dentist. I've been his patient for more than 5 years. My dentist before him found a new cavity every 6 months. I haven't had any new dental problems since I started seeing him.
My husband and I have gone to Dr. Rischall for over 15 years. He's the best Dentist we've had--honest (that's huge in this day and age), reasonably priced, skilled and does all his own work. If you're scared away by the receptionist, you either don't have a sense of humor or don't appreciate the realness of this quaint and personable office. You should probably go to one of the "big box" dentist offices where the receptionist will be more to your liking, but expect to be charged more for services you may or may not need. We'll keep it real with Dr. Rischall and his receptionist.
