Both entrances have relatively flat open areas with benches and space to throw a ball. (North end is bigger.)
The park is mostly wooded = lovely shade in the summer, and hilly = great exercise for everyone, and a reasonable size = at a walk, 10-15 minute round trip. The are lots of trails so each round can be different.
The above also = easy to lose sight of your dog. ** Good recall response is recommended.
When they've gone around the corner and don't come back right away, is it because they found a good sent or because they met a friend at the crossroads and decided to follow them?
Rainy = muddy. There is a small pond which is easy to avoid if your dog likes water.
Snow and ice = need snow cleats. -

(March 24, 2019, 4:32 pm)It was my first time to a dog park with other dogs at the park. It seems to be a very popular dog park in the area!
The park was very muddy and icey for the most part which we didn't expect. It however us beautiful area full of trees. The layout of the dog park is very large. It is large enough to get away from dogs that don't get along with your dog.
There is community dog bowls and extra bags. I however would bring water, a bowl and bags for my dog.
