Richards Piano Studio has been excellent from day one! Rebekah is clear, consistent, supportive, and organized. She keeps the students motivated and involved, and really helps to build a sense of community.
Rebekah Richards is a gifted teacher, bringing an integrated approach to lessons where I learn so much in addition to playing the piano. Learning about the composers and their place in the history of music enriches, inspires and deepens the experience of being her student. She is also an experienced and highly regarded member of the teaching community and generously shares her resources and talents with her students and their families.
I have taken lessons in Jr. High, high School, college, and adult lessons in a conservatory. It wasn't until I started with Rebekah that I have had true teaching. I can't say enough good things about her. Whether child or adult, all will learn with her.
Ms. Rebekah is a fantastic piano teacher. My daughter loves piano and has learned quickly under Rebekah's tutelage. Her lessons include very diverse and well-thought-out approaches to teaching, including form, music theory, sight reading, games/rewards. So much more than just "play the piece you were supposed to practice this last week." I've been very impressed.
My daughter has been taking lessons with Rebekah Richards for 6 years. Rebekah has been a wonderful piano teacher for her. Lessons with Rebekah have a great balance between kind patience and challenging expectations, allowing my daughter to grow as a well rounded musician. She does a great job of providing many performance opportunities, a great foundation and ongoing education in music theory, history and composition, regular ensemble playing, and fun.
