We love King's Kids! There is a great teacher to student ratio ensuring our child gets the attention and support to reach her full potential. The children regularly visit their "grandfriends" at the nearby assisted living center, playing games and learning from one another, visits to the local grocery store, Dairy Queen, vet clinic and even an "art show" at the local coffee shop! This is in addition to all they do in the classroom. Our child has not only grown educationally and socially, but learned to become an engaged and active citizen! The staff is very kind and knowledgeable. They feel like family.

The teacher is a treasure. She has great enthusiasm for teaching and is kind and knows how to control the classroom. The facility is ideal for dropping off the children; there is a clear boundary for the parents as the children go up the stairs to the classroom and then come down when it is time to pick them up. Our children loved going to school there and lasting friendships are made through the students and parents at the school.

My family recently moved to the area and happened to take a tour less than a week before class started. The teachers and staff graciously addressed concerns and questions we had had and made our family feel welcome right away. From the first day of school, I knew we had found a very special place in King’s Kids Preschool.

As a regular parent volunteer for our son’s class, I saw first-hand the learning and enthusiasm that occurred daily. What impressed me was the variety of crafts, hands-on activities and numerous opportunities to play and explore in a group setting. The curriculum changed frequently and incorporated major holidays, seasons and safety topics.

Our son’s favorite places were the dramatic play area and sensory table. It really encouraged him to use his imagination: pretending to work at a restaurant, be a post master or go shopping at a grocery store, among many other fun and useful activities. He also loved exploring with his hands a variety of textures and densities, such as shaving cream, objects in water and play dough.

Beyond classroom learning, our son enjoyed taking walking field trips to area businesses and the local assisted living community. He liked interacting with his “grand friends” and I think the staff and residents also treasured having so many young, smiling faces around.

The classroom has the luxury of the use of a full commercial kitchen, where the staff prepared many wholesome, delicious snacks that were also appreciated by me as a parent. They were not just packaged items from a grocery store. My son is a picky eater and trying a variety of foods, prepared in creative ways also made exploring food and new tastes fun.

As the year went by, my son’s confidence in himself grew. He made many close friends, but thought his entire class was nice and caring. He is now in full day Kindergarten and has transitioned beautifully. We attribute much of his success to the enthusiastic and hard-working teachers and staff. They truly care about each student and his/her families. We are forever grateful for the attention and love they have shown us.

Both our daughters attended this fabulous preschool and we loved it. They were both so well prepared for Kindergarten. They made friends and learned so much! The teachers are kind, experienced, and love to teach young children.
