“Cute, old-fashioned looking ice cream parlor. We didn't eat but we all had ice cream and it was delicious. There are TONS of flavors so check the tags on the glass, the list on the far right, and the large sign hanging near the register as they have different flavors listed. You get an extra scoop but luckily their signs show how many scoops you actually get (a small is 2 scoops for $4.75, medium is 3 scoops for $6, large is 4 scoops, etc.). I use the term "scoop" loosely as it was a huge amount and not traditional scoop. I saw a couple kids with tiny cones and a tiny scoop of ice cream that is perfect for kids (and I wish a had known about it before ordering a "small" for our child because it was more like a pint! Fun, nostalgic atmosphere. Very large servings. Great value. Pleasant, friendly staff. They had a steady stream off customers getting ice cream, hot dogs, pizzas, etc. the entire time we were there (which was over an hour while we were eating all that ice cream) and it wasn't even a hot summer day. Dar's Double Scoop shares restrooms with Hunter's Boys restaurant next door, which was closed or out of business but you could still access the bathrooms. Free on-street parking I front and next to building. May have a small lot in back.So glad we found it on a Google search after the place we planned to go to was closed on Sundays. We will definitely go back.”

“If you could see the expressions on our faces when we walked into our reception it would tell it all. We were absolutely floored by how beautiful the Apricot team made the space. From the amazing post installations to the beautifully arranged candles and bud vases everything was just perfect. Not to mention the bouquet... I'm sure it tacky to say, but ours was the must stunning we've ever seen. Genevieve not only is kind and thoughtful, when working with her we felt she really listened to we wanted and made it come to life better than we could have ever imagined. The team didn't meet our expectation but blew them out of the water. You will not be disappointed working with Apricot Floral!”

“Mike was great to work with through a return/exchange of a head unit that I had purchased and was terribly unhappy with, not of any fault on TTM side, but purely my fault and they still went all out to help get my situation right. Very kind, supportive and helpful!”

“Awesome. Beats Netflix. I rather get tons of new releases monthly at Netflix price. Keep it up Mr Redbox. You truly bring back that old feeling of going to block buster and video store to get a bus but instead a DVD now. Love it. Grab popcorn, soda and Redbox all in one place.”

“My vehicle has unfortunately been hit twice for catalytic converter theft and John and the team at All American Auto have taking care of me both times. With supply issues and an increase in demand, the parts took time to come in but John updated me frequently to let me know what to expect. The team also went the extra mile to pick up my car at my house when they were ready to do the repair since I live close enough to the shop. John is on top of the process with insurance so it has been a light lift on my end. I trust the work and the people here and I'm happy to support a neighborhood business. Planning on brining my service here for general maintenance and repairs!”

“Kelly is a phenomenal music teacher! My son worked with two other instructors before we found the perfect fit with Kelly, and we wouldn't go to anyone else now. Kelly has an infectious love for all things musical, and he makes meaningful connections with his students to bring out their own passion. He is crazy talented but incredibly down to earth. I can't say enough great things about our experience with Kelly!”

“I would like to thank White Bear Lincoln for their exceptional service today. I initially had an issue with a service charge when picking up my vehicle. I was quoted a significantly lower price than the charge ended up being when I picked up my vehicle. I was able to discuss the matter at hand with the manager Tom. Tom was congenial and was willing to listen to my complaint. He was able to review the service received and agreed that they should have done better. I received a refund from White Bear Lincoln that was more than fair. I would like to thank Tom and the rest of the staff at White Bear Lincoln for providing excellent customer service. They showed today that they are willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Thanks again.”

“"Connie's store" "Jack's Corner" or "Mike's Not Here" are some of the many names this little store has had. I went to this store in the 60s with 25 cents and filled my little brown bag with candy. I have many innocent fond memories of this little neighborhood store. How times have changed.”

“What an awesome organization! I called to see about getting a bike for my little brother (through big brothers big sister) and they straight up gave this gem. It’s in great condition and he’s so excited. They brought him (and me) so much happiness. Can’t thank you enough! So awesome!”

“Excellent learning opportunity for all students! My two children first enrolled in Violin lessons with Hovland scholarship for kindergarten students and they have learned a lot over the years. We value the teachers, the curriculum and the support. My children can now play complex pieces of music thanks to our wonderful teacher. Me and my husband have no background in music.”

“I'm a graphic designer and I was looking for a print shop to handle a couple of projects I am working on. I called Nomadic Press this morning to inquire on whether or not they did printing other than letter press. Kent was SO helpful, even though they couldn't help me out. He asked what I was looking for and then explained things about the printing process that I didn't know, recommending another shop in Minneapolis that might be able to help me out. I will definitely be returning when I have a letterpress project that needs to be completed!”

“My son has been taking piano lessons at Melody Tree Studios for almost three years now. Rachel is kind and patient with my son and he continues to enjoy his lessons. Melody Tree Studios has been flexible during the pandemic, quickly pivoting to virtual lessons in 2020 and offering in-person lessons once life opened up again. Small group and individual lessons have been available. Rachel offers regular recitals and workshops to keep the children engaged. I would highly recommend Melody Tree Studios.”

“My brother and I went to Sparkle Auto Sales to help my dad get into a better car. We wanted to get him into a 6 cylinder SUV with low miles. I had 3 vehicles I wanted to test drive on my list. The first one was a Ford explorer and it threw an engine light right away so I moved on to the 2nd one. This was a 2014 Ford Edge SEL. Mark told us that he just needed to see a valid driver's license and we could get in the car and drive it around. That was really efficient. The car had so many screen control features that my 79 yr old father wanted to pass on it but we told him that he would learn it in time. I liked the fact that the car had only two previous owners. The car had 159K miles but my dad doesn't put on too many miles anymore. The purchase price was over the KBB value but I know that cars are selling higher post- Covid so we felt that we were getting my dad into a good car at a decent price. The car threw an engine light the day after we bought it but Mark told us to bring the car in and Greg would read the code and find out what was going on. Greg did just that and reset it for us. The code was for an A/C thing and it was December so we weren't too concerned. It threw a second check engine light the following day that Greg found a code for which was basically my father letting it idle too long in the garage. You don't need to warm these engines up like the older cars. This car throws good heat and has heated mirrors and seats. Good job Ford. The 3rd car on my list was a Jeep grand cherokee but it had sold earlier in the day. Mark and Greg were wonderful to work with and we had a great experience at Sparkle Auto Sales. These guys want you to have a good experience and they give you their time. They're a family owned business that has been around for over 40 years. We like to support the local small businesses. I will keep you posted on this car and how it does moving forward. The Johnsons FYI - We stopped at Car Max and they didn't even have any SUV's for $10K or less.”

“I live out of state and googled Flowers in St Paul, as I wanted a local shop for 2 very special arrangements. It was the day before Christmas Eve, and the temps were well below zero. I found this arrangement and knew it would be perfect for my brother in St Paul. I ordered it in the morning and it arrived later that day. My brother was very happy with the quality and funky design, it brought him much needed joy during a stressful times. Thank you to the delivery driver who was out on that frigid day delivering delicate flowers to their destinations. Recommend Hills Floral for the quality of the arrangements, ease of ordering on line and the delivery driver. Thank you!”

“What exceptional customer service. The legs on our side chair were unsafe and needed to be repaired. We brought the chair to the shop expecting to drop it off and pick it up at a later date but to our surprise Chris repaired the chair legs while we waited and at a fantastic price. I would highly recommend this shop to all my family and friends. Thanks again Chris.”
