“My eye exam was done with me seated in my manual wheelchair. The receptionist was very congenial and helpful and attentive to my needs. The doctor's assistant was a nice young lady who adjusted the test machines and my position with a "can do" attitude, quite impressive. Later, she wheeled me over to meet with the doctor. Doctor Hill was both friendly and professional. She made a point of sitting down close and directly in front of me for a good, open consultation. Waiting for my bus, a lady from their eyeglass retail area came by and I commented that my glasses slide down my nose. She promptly replaced the nose pad pieces for free. My only caveat would be that the receptionist informed me that the Blue Cross covered "free" exam often does not cover the refraction, or eyeglass lense correction test and you ca be charge $98 for that. I am yet waiting to see if I get billed or not.”

“As prompted, I love it. However, I really do love it! Seltzers is a great place to go to for a lot of things. First, they are a pharmacy. You can ask questions about your meds, and the pharmacist is usually very knowledgeable about questions like that. Also, there have been many times that I am going to ask a question, and the pharmacist sees me coming, and comes out to help me. That's not an accident. I sort of think they don't want me to keep talking with them while they are filling a prescription. (makes perfect sense!!!) I have never had a cranky pharmacist there.So they flip a coin and the loser gets me, along with a lot of chattering. They have the usual drugstore items. And some that are unusual. However, don't ask me what they are. You and I might have totally dissimilar ideas about the unusual. They have a portion of the store dedicated to home care items. I've bought a few things to make my life easier, like the slant pillow. I'm going to have to ask Santa (not you, G.) for one of those recliners. They also fit wheelchairs for people who need one. The other side of the store is going to have to be Part 2 of my review (due to charging issues. I certainly hope Google is okay with that. I have never done that before.”

Dr. Sevenich’s has a strong staff at Bethesda that will put a smile on your face from the time you walk in to the time you leave. Don’t let his short appointment times disappoint you. “This review is a little late. My son is now 2.5 years old. While Dr. Merid did not deliver my son, she was my OB throughout my pregnancy. As a woman of color, I have often felt dismissed and not listened to by health care providers but this was not the case with Dr. Merid. She was professional, polite, easy to talk to, and I felt listened to and validated by her. I was so lucky to have found her and hope to always remember the care she gave through this experience.”

The only entrance to the Antique mall is on the west side of the building. There are so many things that I have not seen before, hence antique. They usually have great stuff in the back of the store. That's what I usually go first.”
