“We love Edgcumbe Montessori! Our son is in Ms. Sherry’s preschool class, and she is incredibly capable—we are constantly impressed with how she gets all the kids participating in group circle, and our son has already learned a lot from her. The kids spend a lot of time outside, and they have a great plot of land that they use for nature walks. The manager, Ivan, is very nice and flexible with our changing schedule due to the pandemic. Overall, we can’t say enough good things about the school!”

“Excellent experience! The instructors are helpful, patient and ready when you are. I learned over 100 drinks and bottles and I could make my own schedule to fit around my 2 jobs. You mix drinks using the real bottles, though no real alcohol, so it gives you a feel for the real thing. Everything goes at the pace you set for yourself, so if you can get through the class and learn everything in a week, awesome. If you need 1-2 months, the instructors are kind and open to your needs. I was nervous and made allot of mistakes in the beginning, but I became more calm and relaxed with the working environment the more I practiced and if I had any problem I just let the staff know. We are all there to learn and the staff will help you to the very end. BONUS: For a little extra money, you can continue going to the school just for practice anytime, as long as you call in advance to let them know you'll be there.”

“Midwest school of diving has been great for me and my family. They did a "discover scuba" class for my daughter's girl scout troop a few years ago and she just had loads of fun. More recently my husband myself, and our kids all got certified. Mark the owner has been super helpful when we planned our first family dive trip and the whole process was easy, affordable, and filled with fun. I would recommend everyone to go here. It's definitely worth the drive.”

I am so impressed with how they pick the perfect teacher for my daughter.Every year I want a teacher I think will be best then I meet there choice and in no time I realize they nailed it with the perfect choice for her not me.I want to tell any parent who is worried about what school for there child I tell you Island Lske Elementary is amazing every teacher we have had is amazing to are child there care and support is first class. I had Are older boy in private school and we had problems that I thought were flat out wrong.We checked for best Elementary schools decided on Island Lake moved to Shoreview and never looked back. It starts at the top .The Principal Todd Durant is top notch .Great with the kids and parents as well as the support staff they address are issues timely and I feel with care.Even there drop off with the kids is a well oiled machine with a retired Sheriff keeping the kids and parents safe.I highly recommend Island Lske Elementary.Thanks Stephen”

She has allergies and they were very supportive in helping figuring out how to manage them. My only (small) complaint would be that they have limited hours (7:30 - 5:30), which could be tricky sometimes with two full-time working parents.”

“We love the Learning Garden and are so happy we found them! Our son has been attending the learning garden for a year or so now and he is just thriving! Prior to The Learning Garden, drop-off’s were rough at his previous child care, but now he asks when we are leaving the house in the morning. He is learning so much and I can just see how much he is growing and developing. I mentioned to his teachers that I needed some help with potty training and within a week, he is fully trained. I can see how much the teachers truly care for the kids and enjoy their jobs. My husband and I have both still had to work during the current pandemic and it has been so great to have the security of child care and having full trust in the staff that the safety of the kids and themselves is at the forefront of their minds.
