“It is a good school probably the only school of the district that teaches the students, though I haven't seen the entire layout there is a "reset room" that kids go in when they misbehave it is better than Karners concrete cells but it isn't the cleanest place, the sinks are outside of the bathrooms as well just incase students did wash their hands it isn't very hygienic as they don't clean the door handles into the bathroom but I mean going to the bathroom at school isn't that smartest idea at all in the first place. I'm giving this a four star because this is the only school of the district that taught me anything.”

“The restaurant has definitely changed, but the food is still good. I have been coming here for years, it is where I had my first date with my husband. The tastes of the food are definitely different, but they aren't bad. The fried rice was good, the egg roll was amazing, I really liked the sweet and sour sauce, and the orange chicken was very very orange-y! A lot of orange chicken I have had has been very similar to just a sweet and sour chicken, this one was very boldly orange, however it didn't have any spice to it. (I would have liked it to have a little heat.) I will call out the cream cheese wantons a bit though. Before the change in ownership, the cream cheese puffs were the best I had ever had, anywhere. I loved the sweetness of them. These are more like the cream cheese puffs I have had everywhere else. Again, they were good, just not the same. They definitely needed the sweet and sour sauce because they weren't sweet.”

“My entire family trains with Doug Staley at Competitive Wellness. I found Doug through a recommendation almost 3 years ago. I was looking for someone to work with my then 12-year-old son who was struggling with self-confidence. I am so appreciative of Doug’s patience (working with middle-schoolers is not easy) and his strong focus on safety and good technique for a growing body. My son is now a sophomore in high school and continues to improve his strength and confidence. I was so happy with my son’s experience that 2 years ago, I also started working wit Doug. After seeing the great results I was getting, my husband started at Competitive Wellness a year later. Even though my whole family trains with Doug, we have very different goals. My son is focused on gaining strength and setting new personal records. I am working on overall strength as well as nutrition and weight loss. My husband is a runner and is working on improving his performance. Doug creates unique plans for each of us to support our different needs and goals. Doug is a great trainer, but he also runs a great business. He is very responsive to messages and questions and provides information & support inside and outside of the gym. He is meticulous about safety during COVID. He only allows one client into the gym at a time and thoroughly sanitizes between each client. Beyond all this, Doug is just a great guy who somehow makes working out fun even when I am working hard and pushing my limits. “Some of the best burgers in town! They are kid friendly which is nice, but you can also catch a game while you're there. Their Mushroom and Swiss was AMAZING! I also LOVE their fries. I'm not much of a burger and fry person, but this place is SO good that I go there for the burgers and fries. Also loved there cookie that they do in a skillet. With the ice cream, that was SUPER great! Our waitress was very sweet and helpful! They have pull tabs and a patio, too.”
