Pike Lake Park

Very small tucked away park. It’s beautiful but easy enough to mistake a private drive for walking path.

This is such a beautiful little hidden park! There is a short looping trail about .25 mile through the woods, along a stream, down to Pike Lake, up a little hill through more woods, and then back to the beginning. Along the trail you will find a covered picnic table, a bench swing, and some really lovely views. There is a small parking lot and a port-a-potty. Enter from County Road 42, westbound, between Pike Lake Trail and County Road 21. You can only enter from westbound, and you have to watch for the little sign. It feels like you're turning down a driveway, but it's actually a road. Don't let the mailboxes fool you! A couple of times, I've seen people with fishing poles going down a trail to the lake, but I haven't walked back there because I've never been wearing long pants, and the grass and weeds are high right now.
