Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church

Mega-Lutheran church with a YMCA, senior community, apartment development, and acres of undeveloped property…This is an amazing church.

Beautiful church and wonderful congregation. All are welcome to join; they are accepting of all cultures and people. I grew up at this church and was confirmed here after attending Living Water from 5th-8th grade. I'd highly recommend Living Water to children; Wednesday nights were my favorite part of the week growing up! Just recently my husband and I had our baby daughter baptized here. The staff, especially Pastor Korla, made the experience seamless and memorable. We look forward to attending church services here whenever we are able.

The building is beautiful! It is modern but has a lot of curves as well as the straight lines. Neat place. There is a YMCA on one side and a nursing home on the other.

My wife and I lived in Prior Lake and attended Shepherd of the Lake until 2011, when we were relocated to Arizona for work. Every time we come back home to visit friends and family, we visit Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church and are always welcomed. In fact, both of our daughters were baptized at Shepherd of the Lake even though we reside in Arizona. It's great to still have a home away from home.

Shepherd of Lake Lutheran Church became our family's home when we were married there in 2003. Since then we have baptized two children at SOLLC and continue to enjoy the congregation and the spiritual experience. New pastors have really brought a fresh, new feeling to the church.
