“3 years ago the dealer told me that the Headgasket was leaking oil on my Mercedes and gave me very expensive quote. I decided to have another shop by my house look at it. They said that they were not sure what was leaking but that it was probably the Headgasket. My dad told me to take it to Piston Pete's because they work on European cars all of the time. I brought it in, it was not the Headgasket at all. The job ended up being much smaller than the dealership said. My husband and I have a Mercedes, an Audi and a BMW. For the past 3 years we have taken all of them to Piston Pete's and we live 45 minutes away. Well worth the drive! The best shop that you will ever find for any make or model and any service that you need done.”

“I bought/reserved my tires online. Have to go in to schedule an appointment. Which its not clearly stated online. No reminders about your appointment, so make sure u got it down. They only take like 2 walk ins per day. So if u go that route, make sure u can leave your car with them until they get to you. Also be there early(when they open that day) if your hoping for a walk in. Also somtimes hard to get ahold of somone in the department when you call.”

My go-to location is in Blaine, MN and it is like a 5 min drive from my house. I like that you are able to get a loaner car if the service is going to take a bit, but I also enjoy that they can shuttle you to/from so you're not stranded if they are out of loaners. “Good prices, as a rule, and fairly quick service if what you want is in the main building... otherwise they'll send you to the old building which is much less organized, be prepared for long waits if they're busy. They're nice enough to let you look at stuff before you buy, which any good yard should do. They don't store body parts carefully, so expect them to have some damage, regardless of what their quality rating is on the website. I have to say I've never had a really bad experience with these guys.”
