“I've been looking for a new church home for a while and tried EPAG recently. I was warmly welcomed. I love the size of the church: not too big, not too small. The music was beautiful and so was the sermon! I was getting excited that this may be "it," but then I was dismayed when a gentleman wrapped up the service by saying something along the lines of that men should love their wives (fine) and in turn, women should respect their husbands (... are you for real?). That was a complete turn off for me. It's 2020. Women and men should love and respect each other as EQUALS and the impression I got was the whole "old world" way of thinking (women should "serve" their husbands). Since I decided to visit on a whim, I didn't take a close look at their philosophy and realized that it caters to a more conservative crowd. I doubt LGBT+ are welcome here though I could be wrong... I suggest you review their beliefs listed on their website to see if you agree with them before going as they seem to take a very literal approach to the Bible ("lake of fire" type of speak...). If that's how you roll, then go for it but if you're more progressive/inclusive I'd look elsewhere. They served a lovely breakfast and took the time to get to know me. The members were very kind and friendly.”
