Not only not pushing knee replacement but advised seeing how long the injections last, yet told that I'm eligible for surgery when I deem it necessary. Before the surgery, Dr. Carlson made sure I was well informed of my options and how the surgery would work, how the recovery process would be closely monitored, and what eye drop medications I would need to use during my recovery. The surgery itself did not hurt and the staff helping during the procedure were very knowledgeable. As someone who wore glasses for 13 years and contacts for about 8 years for long hours, I was ready to not have to worry about bringing contact solution and glasses everywhere I went. I had my Lasek surgery May 14th and I am happy to say I am 20/15 today I'm both eyes without any corrective lenses. I can do fun things now like go kayaking and actually see the shore line!
