Dr Meyer did such an amazing job - When I woke up after surgery, my pain was GONE! Eight weeks later my scar is faint and looks great. If you follow Dr Meyer’s post op orders, take the medications as directed, do the exercises before and after, and rest, rest, rest according to his recommendation, you will be so pleased with your results, and virtually have a pain free recovery. I am so thankful to Dr Meyer for the surgical skills that he has perfected, and for clear communication that he has created, to make joint replacement for his patients as painless as possible.”

“Absolutely wonderful! I was referred to Dr. Cohn by an different Othro Dr than usual as my back Dr was retiring. I went to see Dr. Cohn for trigger point injections that were ordered by this particular ortho for what reason? No idea, I don't have a muscular problem I have nerve pain from the multiple fusions I've had done from L3-S1 and both SI joints. When Dr. Cohn came in he also seemed a bit confused as to why this dr chose trigger points that only deals with muscular areas but he did then anyway and then we got to chatting (he's really pretty funny) and he said I would be a good candidate for a spinal cord stimulator trial and it just so happened that the Medtronic Rep was in the building and was able to come chart with me about the device and how it works and why it works. I said "sign me up!" Fast forward to now when I had my permanent implant in on April 4th since the trial went great. I absolutely love the implant and love that we know have it adaptive so it knows when I'm sitting, standing, laying, walking, etc...I am so grateful for Dr. Cohn and Medtronic for making this happen and lessening my pain by a good 50 -60%. I can't that you enough!”

With that comes a lot of work in the physical home/s that are being updated or built. Along the way I have met employees, nurses, house managers, residents and have observed first hand the kind of care they offer to their residents & their families. The ownership has always been concerned and diligent about making sure their residents are treated with a compassion and level of care that is far above the norm. The residents are treated with respect & love. The staff is hired with those same principals in mind. Over the period of times I have been in homes where residents are already living I have been able to observe first hand the type of care that is given. I also know that if an employee is not meeting that same level of care that is expected the management and owners will work with the employee to help them improve. Sometimes that doesn't work out as the owners would like and they have to let an employee go because the care of the residents are the top priority. I have seen residents overall health improve once they came to live at Hometown. That level of care doesn't come from a company that is not concerned for those that have been interested to them by their families to care for. It DOES come from compassionate, loving, diligent and careful care to not only physical needs but also emotional, spiritual and mental needs! I have also seen the the owners over several years bring their own children in to help build the relationship and well being of their residents. The children would 'play' with the residents and often built up relationships that improved the overall well being of the residents. Bottom line, this company not only has the physical needs of the residents at the top of their priorities but also their entire being. Their emotional, mental and spiritual welfare is a core reason for even opening up Hometown. In my opinion they have done an incredible job of just that! There is no way that so many people would have their loved ones in one of Hometowns facilities if they did not live up to what they offer. They often have waiting lists for incoming residents!”

The food is ok...needs better choices, but it's good. I'd highly recommend C.F. for people with mental illness and addiction issues, it's a good experience. I think you'll be happy here. Nice neighborhood close to three lakes, walking. The staff is the best I've seen in places such as this.”
