“If senior living homes were an Olympic Sport, Orchard Path would win the gold medal! My Mom has been a resident there in "the Commons" (Assisted Living) for 15 months, and she could not be happier with the facilities and staff. From a facilities perspective, everything feels new (which it is), and she jokingly calls it the Taj Mahal of senior homes. Tasteful artwork adorns the halls, the building is well lit inside and out, and the layout just works. Having Cobblestone Lake as a "backyard" is a tremendous resource, and my Mom has thoroughly enjoyed our walks around the lake path. From a staff perspective, everyone is top notch. They are caring, competent, friendly, empathetic, and my mom's favorite word to describe them: PATIENT! It is very clear that the Presbyterian name is far more than a name, and the Christian acts of service are pervasive amongst staff. My Mom and I LOVE how every communication from Orchard Path includes a bible verse or reference to God, who truly is our great healer and protector. The pandemic of course has challenged Orchard Path as well as all senior living facilities, but communication has been timely, and their allowance of "essential caregivers" to enter the building (with all safety precautions), has been a godsend for me personally, to allow me to offer additional care to my Mom. I am welcomed in the facility, remembered by name, and get proactive updates on the progress of my Mom. If there were a hall of fame for senior living homes, Orchard Path would be in it!”
