“Not only have I had surgery at this hospital (that went extremely well) but I came in a few days ago and had great care! I am not fond of needles and while my nurse was inserting the needle to draw blood and put my IV in, she could tell I was extremely uncomfortable. She made small talk and continued to distract me from what was happening. She also checked in on me multiple times to make sure I was comfortable. This may sound like common courtesy, but not all people who become nurses or doctors do it because they truly care. Many do it because of the paycheck…but I could tell she truly cared. Later I had to get a CT scan and the guys who did it were very humorous and made me feel way more comfortable with it, as I have bad anxiety. You don’t always come across great nurses like this who truly care and go out of their way for you. I greatly appreciate all the care they have given to me and my family over the years.”
