“Overall the food was tasty and reasonably priced. We were there on a Sunday afternoon arriving just before 1. First thing to note, the restaurant is not handicap accessible. There is a step to get in and out and a just a manual door. We managed to get my grandma in and out, but it was a struggle. We were given a friendly greeting, and as we'd had a reservation were seated quickly, though the reservation hardly seemed necessary as there were only two or three other tables that were occupied. Drinks and appetizers were ordered quickly and came to the table fairly quickly as well. I highly recommend the sirloin tips and the onion rings. It took a fair bit if time for the server to come back for our entree orders and even longer for the entrees to be served. Granted, we were a party of six, so one expects a bit of a delay. But this seemed longer than I would expect. Everyone in the party was happy with their entreés though mine the "Little Charlie's" sandwiches (two slider sized beef sandwiches) were tasty, but I requested med. rare and one arrived med well, the other rare. The friendly atmosphere and tasty food made up for the couple issues I mentioned. I would definitely go back, but I wouldn't take grandma or anyone else with mobility issues and I would be prepared to wait, and to send my meat back if not cooked to the requested temp.”

“My first time stopping here the other day, and it was a good idea for a quick lunch. I mean for around $3.50 you were able to get a slice of sausage or pepperoni. And I am glad that I did since the sauce slice almost looked like it sizzles and to top it off, I liked how friendly everybody was. I had a good lunch that really did fill me up. Worth another visit since it seems convenient. I mean it's right next to a library.”

“i was house sitting for my daughter who lives in Apple Valley and ordered a pizza from here (I lived in Apple Valley twenty years ago and used to order pizzas all the time) I have to say everyone from the young lady answering the phone, to the cook and delivery driver all were wonderful. It truly was one of the best pizzas that I have ever had. I called this morning to relay to the manager Eric how wonderful it was and he too, couldnt have been nicer. Highly recommend!”

“I went to Lou's CNA training in Wahiawa and loved it. Lou is very kind and straightforward. Her classes were a lot cheaper than the one's in Leeward community college. She offers a discount if you bring your own medical book, stethoscope and blood pressure cuff. her classes are small so dont expect 20 people to show, and expect a friendly environment. She will not spoon feed you so dont think its super easy, you have to do somethings on your own. my overall experience was wonderful.”

The bad one was a total anomaly — it was early-on in the pandemic and they had not ironed things out for takeout, Door Dash, online ordering, etc. I waited in line outside (on Mother’s Day) for nearly an hour. I had ordered almost an hour prior, so my food was no longer piping hot (warm, but not hot). I did ask for fresh wontons because I figured those would be the most pertinent to be eaten hot. They obliged. The employees were working HARD. I honestly felt bad for them and gave them a tip.”
