“I’ve never worked out at the studio. But… with that being said, I walk by it every single day and what I see is a bright shining beacon of light and motivation for anyone that sees it. Either a passerby or somebody that utilizes Uncommon Age as part of their fitness regimen. The people I see coming and going are normal every day people working towards their own goals. The one thing they all for sure share is a bright happy smile and a look on their face that conveys that they just completed a productive, perhaps strenuous, satisfying workout. I like seeing people being active and working towards a goal. (and it’s in a beautiful renovated old building with golden warm natural woodwork — it’s not a cold uncomfortable studio. It’s beautiful.)”

We were looking for a transition from a public charter school rooted in the classical tradition to a Catholic school which would tear down that wall between faith and reason and present the truth as an integral whole. Chesterton Academy does exactly that. The teacher body is phenomenal, the students of the highest integrity, and our son actually ENJOYS school and learning. Chesterton once said "if there is no mirth, there is madness" and there is plenty of mirth at the academy, but they also take learning and forming children in the faith very seriously. We also were trying to navigate what we even felt comfortable with as we weighed our options during peak pandemic season as well. After doing some research and choosing to join the Montessori path, the head of school Karina was incredible at touring and welcoming us to the school. She spent so much time with us marking sure we knew what to expect and how best to help set our baby up for success when first joining. His teacher Ms. Catherine is exactly who I hoped and wished for when we chose to send our son to school. She does an impeccable job of running the class room and communicating what happens on a daily basis. I can’t recommend this school enough. Nothing is worth more than our sons health and safety. At Guidepost South Riding, our son is treated and taken care of like a first time mom would expect. I am always so impressed at what the staff is able to share with the parents. We are infinitely grateful for Guidepost and can’t wait for what is in store for our sons future.”

“My toddler goes to creative kids academy on hwy 10 in Elk River. He loves the teachers, the friends, and the activities! He tells me everything he does when he gets in the car at the end of the day, which is great! He is also going to school where a lot of his friends in daycare will also go to his primary school in a few years - I believe this will make for an easy transition from preschool to kindergarten. I can’t say enough about the teachers. They follow a schedule everyday to provide normalcy for the students. They are also diligent in keeping parents informed and aware of how their child(ren) are doing at daycare. I highly recommend this Creative Kids Academy on 10 in Elk River.”
