“Personally, I think that school is important,& it needs to be seen as that way. I'm sorry if you don't agree,& you think that the schools sexist, or racist, but honestly, a lot of the teachers do care about kids, or they have pretty reasonable excuses to be hard core. For example, Mrs. Ward. She's really nice, & caring, & she notices things. One kid in my class, Siab, she sent him out because he was, "Waiting on death's doorstep." He was sick for the next 2 days, & he puked a few hours later. Another person I came up with, is Mr. Morriem. He was one of the nicest people ever. I miss him so much. He helped with everything. He helped me get my grade from a C+, to an A-. In the last month of the quarter. They aren't sexist either. They just want everyone to make it. That's right, even the boys. So don't do that to them. I promise, if you make a complaint call to the school, you can ban kids from wearing their underwear 3 feet from their pants, be my guest. They aren't racist either, kids of color can go to school. They don't get worse grades than the palest kid ever. So, don't even try with me, 'cause next time, you'll feel it so bad. I'm a girl, & personally, I think that if you don't want to test school rules, you can do something almost as easy as opening your planner. That's right, there is a dress code copy inside of each of the planners, page 12. So, next time you do your back to school shopping, to a look in a book. It doesn't say anywhere that girls are the only who apply. Boys just don't necessarily wear that stuff. So don't start. I can out rule anything and anyone that tries against me. Nice try idiots. Bye.”

Grad rates are up, test scores are increasing, the building is getting refurbished, and contrary to internet outrage, our leadership is putting students first and humbly accepting blame when they mess up. I love working at RHS. Most of the negative reviews are based off of people who don't attend or work at RHS.”

She has allergies and they were very supportive in helping figuring out how to manage them. My only (small) complaint would be that they have limited hours (7:30 - 5:30), which could be tricky sometimes with two full-time working parents.”

“We love the Learning Garden and are so happy we found them! Our son has been attending the learning garden for a year or so now and he is just thriving! Prior to The Learning Garden, drop-off’s were rough at his previous child care, but now he asks when we are leaving the house in the morning. He is learning so much and I can just see how much he is growing and developing. I mentioned to his teachers that I needed some help with potty training and within a week, he is fully trained. I can see how much the teachers truly care for the kids and enjoy their jobs. My husband and I have both still had to work during the current pandemic and it has been so great to have the security of child care and having full trust in the staff that the safety of the kids and themselves is at the forefront of their minds. We could not be more grateful for The Learning Garden community.”

Their curriculum is second to none, And the staff are always friendly. Katie and Tarah do a phenomenal job in my opinion as well as all of the other staff at Elk River. I can understand the difficulties they may have with so many different personalities and energy levels in the room but I believe they handle it in a professional manner. “The children enjoy exploring the music together in the group. it is a fantastic class that we really appreciate the method of play and creativity for example: the teacher illustrates the keys and symbols in stories. We find this makes it memorable for the children, as they are fun and make the children laugh. We enjoy the positive presentation, friendliness, and knowledge base of the teacher. She is always willing to take the time to explain and encourage the students. There is a variety of practice in writing songs, placing magnets on keys or chords, making flash cards, and making up songs and stories that the children can be engaged in and they discover their enjoyment in their own creation, both inside and outside class.
