“I just got a massage from Calvin, and he may be the best massage therapist I’ve ever been to. My job is really hard on my neck, shoulders, arms and hands. He really worked through a lot of the knots and tightness - I could feel the muscles releasing as he worked. I’m a tough case because I don’t stretch enough and tend to ignore my body when it’s yelling at me. Some other therapists tend to just do a full body massage and gloss over problem areas, but Calvin really did some serious focused detail work to actually help my body. I absolutely trust Calvin to help me work through this mess I’ve gotten my muscles into so that I can start fresh and really care for my body. Thank you, Calvin. You do excellent work.”

“I enjoyed the companionship and massage very much. For $70 I got the undivided attention of a pretty woman and a great massage for one whole hour. A total bargain in my book. Our conversation was some what limited because of limited english and me being hard of hearing. I did enjoy it very much. I wouldn't mind getting a 3/4 hour massage and 3/4 hour face to face conversation over a cup of hot tea. I think that would be very nice. Book with Julie. She is there Tuesday to Sunday. 9 to 9. “Space: Massage therapy room is in the basement of a neat herbal shop. The hallway in the basement is a bit musty but the therapy room itself has updated ventilation and doesn't smell like a basement. There is some overhead foot traffic (the shop above has hardwood floors), which I suppose some people could find distracting. The sounds were easy for me to tune out, though. Massage: If you believe in this sort of thing, Tamara is a healer. She combines technical knowledge with an intent to heal. She really listens and respects you (versus someone who nods their head and then does their thing regardless of what you've just specified). I derive the most benefit from distal work (feet/hands) with a shiatsu- or reflexology-type approach, which I described to Tamara. Tamara has told me repeatedly that she does not have formal training in shiatsu, and limited formal training in reflexology (at the time of this review), but I keep telling her that I feel way better after she's worked on my feet and hands, versus most massage therapists with 20+ years of shiatsu or reflexology experience. She's a gem.”

The thing that I found most satisfying what's that when I indicated that I would prefer a high level of pressure, they did not disappoint. When you ask for high pressure deep tissue this is definitely the place to go.”

“I've been a member for several years but this was one of my first experiences at the Stillwater location. Yesterday, I had a 90 min massage scheduled with Trudy. And naturally, I was over 15 min late and slightly annoyed with myself. Trudy welcomed me with a smile and then informed me that I was her last client for the day and could make up the time by going a little over. WHAT - Cray. This was so nice and above and beyond my expectations. And it was the best massage I have ever had. She does amazing bodywork that was holistic in incorporated mindfulness. Highly recommended for body trauma work.”
