“The overall experience was great. Staff were all very prompt and helpful, even generally all having smiles on their faces-- this is just not seen these days! That raises this to 5 stars. The only knock we had is that we ordered a vegetarian meal. It was not good. 3 vegetables (broccoli, carrots, and pea pods) kind of grief and put over a bed of some sort of rice or potato. It wasn't terrible but that's not a meal. Plenty of room for hundreds of people. I would have preferred the parking instructions be a bit more clear as myself and many others parked in the paid lot. There's a little ramp in front of the building and it's a bit steep, so I didn't think my van could make it. Again, not a huge thing just a little more detail, maybe another sign or something. Will definitely be back.”

“Arrived early and had a wonderful conversation with Terry the owner and Ruby our trail guide. Learned that it’s 400 acres and they have 49 horses and Terry’s been open since 1962. I loved learning about how it got started. Ruby was fantastic as our guide for our 2 hour ride. Beautiful scenery and the horses were great. My daughter and I had a blast! I will definitely be back with the whole family.”

The views of the lake and homes are beautiful, the cruise was relaxing and informative. Service was excellent, we sat on the top level and crew was very attentive to serving drinks and running a tab. “Wow what a great way to spend time in the sun and on the water! This was our first time but we’ll definitely be back. My daughter, my 65lb Boxer and I rented a 4 person raft, equipment was clean and in good condition. Instructions were given, staff was really friendly and offered to hold my key FOB and supplied ziplock bags for our phones. We stopped twice along the way to hunt for agates and swim so it took us about 5 1/2 hours to reach the pickup landing (maybe 3-3 1/2 with no stops). They scooped up the equipment and loaded us on a bus and dropped us back off at our car…TOO EASY! Bring a cooler, fishing equipment if you want or your own kayak or canoe and ENJOY! EDIT we saw momma and Bambi in the river 💕💕”

“This place is amazing! I am a volunteer here, and the other volunteers are so sweet and caring. And the staff are so wonderful! Everyone is so willing to share knowledge and help everyone be successful. I just can't say enough good things about the things I experience here. From the interactions behind the scenes, to watching the kids transform before our eyes on these gentle and incredibly trained horses. It's like watching magic every time I go out there. I know that there is science behind equine therapy. I've done some research myself. But to actually experience it is something that no book, no medical study or journal will ever be able to fully capture. I see so much love, patience, mentorship, trust, gentleness and faith in each other... The horses in us. And us in the horses. It's like one big barn filled with healing for all who enter.”
